Srinagar, Aug 15 (GNS): A policeman was hospitalized after he sustained ‘minor’ splinter injuries in a grenade blast outside Police Control Room (Kashmir) here on Monday evening, officials said.
They told GNS that unidentified militants hurled a grenade upon IRP 6th Battalion outside APCR Srinagar, leaving one constable, Shabir Ahmad, injured. “The individual, with minor arm injuries, was evacuated to Police Hospital Srinagar for treatment”, they said where his overall condition is stable.
Meanwhile the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the assailants. (GNS)
