12 travelers among 113 fresh covid-19 cases, total 123538

Srinagar, Jan 19 (GNS): Twelve travelers were among 113 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said here Tuesday evening.

Giving breakup of the cases, the officials told GNS that 53 were from Jammu Division and 60 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 123538.

Regarding the cases, Srinagar reported 37 cases, Baramulla 5, Budgam 7, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 2, Shopian 2, Jammu 40, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 1, Samba 2, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 7, Ramban 2 and Reasi 0.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of CD hospital, SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag.

The CD cases include female (58) from Sanatnagar Srg, female (45) from Rajbagh, four males (93, 70, 70, 75) from NA, male (40) from Lal Bazar, male (60) from Kupwara, female (55) from Qamarwari Srg, two males (14, 10) and female (44) from Sanatnagar, male (43) from Kanitar, male (35) from Tailbal, female (18) from Elahibagh, female (23) from Kanitar, three females (55, 31, 22) from Lal Bazar, male (45) from Botakadal, male (70) from Kathidarwaza, male (45) from Botakadal, male (55) from Srinagar, female (65) from Tral, male (30) from Tangmarg, male (80) from Gantmulla, male (80) from Sumbal, female (60) from Kawoosa, female (84) from Qamarwari.

SKIMS Cases

The Budgam cases include male (70) from Rawalpora, female (65) from Rawalpora Main Road, male (50) from Mazhama, female (54) from Chill Arizal, female (50) from Sholipora, male (36) from Magam Budgam.

The Srinagar cases include male (58) and three female (55, 19, 16) from Peerbagh Hyderpora, male (50) from Soura, male (24) from Harwan, two males (50, 25) from Hawal, female (58) from Natipora Srinagar.

The Ganderbal cases include female (23) from Search Ganderbal.

The Anantnag cases include male (43) from Hillar Kokernag Anantnag.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (39) from Lazibal, male (36) from Mahind, male (21) from Mirbazar, female (60) from Sangam.

Meanwhile, 120 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 52 from Jammu and 68 from Kashmir Valley. With this, the number of active positive cases has reduced to 1103— 396 in Jammu and 707 in Kashmir. (GNS)
