237 More Patients Recover, Positive Cases Reduce To 1468

Srinagar, Jan 14 (GNS): Three travelers were among 79 fresh novel coronavirus cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.

Among the fresh cases, they said, 30 are from Jammu Division and 49 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total tally to 122964.

Giving district-wise details, the officials told GNS, Srinagar reported 26 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 4, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 2, Shopian 0, Jammu 23, Udhampur 4, Rajouri 0, Doda 1, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic labouratories of CD, SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag hospitals. The CD cases include female (65) and two males (70, 75) from Baramulla, female (70) from Kanitar Srg, male (72) from Gulabagh Srg, female (50) and male (93) from NA, two females (49, 73) and male (79) from Sanatnagar Srg, male (45) from Anantnag, male (NA) from Arizal, male (70) from Nowshera Srinagar, female (21) from Natipora, two males (12, 47) and two females (11, 35) from Lal Bazar, male (43) from Hotel Grand Mahal Shalimar, male (45) from Naseembagh, female (61) from Harwan, female (65) from Nawabazar, female (40) from Mandibal, two males (52, 32) from Lal Bazar, male (37) from Mandibal, male (32) from Malbagh, male (25) from Tral, female (50) from Khanyar, male (80) from Gantamula Baramulla, female (65) from Safapora Bandipora.

The Ganderbal cases include male (75) from Saloora, male (25) from Gutlibagh, female (58) from Safapora, male (39) from Bamloora, male (75) from Khanan, female (33) from Tulmula Ganderbal.

The Budgam cases include male (38) from Rawalpora, male (10) from Rawalpora Budgam, female (60) from Chill Brass Budgam.

The Baramulla cases include male (50) from Uri Baramulla.

The Srinagar cases include male (50) from Hafizbagh, female (20) from Narwara, female (65) from Nowshera Srinagar. The Pulwama cases include female (65) from Muran Pulwama. The Ramban cases include male (48) from Chail Halla Ramban. The GMC Anantnag cases include male (50) from Zawoora, male (29) from Barbugh.

Moreover, they said, 237 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—125 from Jammu Division and 112 from Kashmir valley. The number of active cases has reduced to 1468 in J&K. (GNS)
