Poonch, Oct 22 (GNS): Unknown persons, suspected to be militants, hurled a grenade at a police vehicle near Kalai bridge area in Poonch district on Thursday night.
Officials told GNS that grenade was thrown at 2100 hours but the device failed to explode.
Confirming the throwing of the grenade, SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral told GNS the grenade did not explode. “The security has been tightened in the area,” he said, adding, “Investigations have been launched.” (GNS)
