J&K Reports Record 1698 Covid-19 Cases, Total 52410

135 Travelers, 30 Soldiers Among Infected; 596 Patients Discharge

Srinagar, Sept 12 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir recorded the highest single-day jump of 1698 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking its count to 52410, official said on Saturday.

With 135 travelers among them, official sources told GNS 838 cases were from Jammu and 860 from Kashmir Valley including 30 from army’s BB Cantt Srinagar, three pregnant woman and two Government employees.

This is for the tenth day in a row that J&K has reported cases in excess of one thousand.

Giving breakup of the cases, they said Srinagar reported 255, Budgam 123, Baramulla 82, Pulwama 50,
Anantnag 45, Kupwara 108, Bandipora 82, Kulgam 10, Ganderbal 45, Shopian 60, Jammu 250, Udhampur 103, Rajouri 83, Kathua 42, Samba 58, Poonch 93, Ramban 31, Doda 67, Reasi 33 and Kishtwar 78.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD diagnostic laboratory and SKIMS laboratory.

The CD cases include male (20) from Beighpora, male (52) from Inder, female (25) from Samboora, female (34) from Begumbagh, female (35) from Chittergull, male (29) from NA, two females (10, 35) from Chowgam, male (55) and female (18) from Sarnal, male (68) from Doda, male (33) from Hyderpora, female (28) from NA, male (63) from Batapora, three males (40, 53, 56) and female (63) from NA, thirty males (21, 23, 27, 24, 32, 40, 35, 32, 26, 46, 35, 32, 36, 36, 31, 28, 29, 42, 39, 40, 40, 40, 32, 29, 23, 33, 45, 32, 30, 24) from BB Cantt Srg, male (40) from Srinagar, female (32) from Kupwara, male (25) from Hawal Srg, male (55) from Bemina Srg, male (25) from Budgam, male (22) from Chowkibal Kup, female (40) from Budgam, male (25) from Nawabazar, male (40) from Chattabal, NA (NA) from Batamaloo, male (35) from Nowgam, two males (21, 75) from Lal Bazar Srg, female (56) and male (62) from HMT Srg, female (60) from Hyderpora, male (NA) from SSH Srg, female (NA) from Tangdhar, female (25) from Harwan, male (25) from HMT Srg, male (49) from Awantipora, male (NA) from Tral Pulwama, female (62) from Chanapora, female (30) from Bandipora, male (42) from Kargil, male (28) from Lal Bazar, female (32) from Kanilbagh Baramulla, two females (28, 25) from Sidiq Colony Sopore, male (24) from Upper Ashpeer, female (52) from Seeloo Sopore, female (25) from Panzula Rafiabad, male (50) from Arampora Pattan, male (60) and two females (55, 32) from Sanat Nagar Srinagar, female (50) from Khore Pattan, male (63) from Khawaja Bagh Baramulla, male (25) from Habak Tangoo.

The Anantnag cases include male (31) from Badran, male (40) from Chittergull.m
The Budgam cases include male (65) from Nowlori, three males (48, 36, 46) from Fire Service Magam, female (32) from Jamia Mohallah Maganm, female (27) and male (26) from Arampora Pattan, male (29) from Rekshalion, female (40) from Chadoora Town I, male (80) from Hashroo, male (58) from Mirgund, male (45) from Housing Colony Ompora, male (42) from Wahabpora Soibugh, male (27) from Zoogu, male (50) from Katich, two females (18, 20) from Check Shera, male (38) from Soibugh, female (18) from Haran, male (15) from Soibugh, male (30) from Haran, two males (26, 16) from Budgam, male (36) from Wadwan, male (30) from Kanipora B K Pora, male (34) from BK Pora, male (75) from Kanipora, male (32) from Mini Colony Chanapora, male (50) from Mehtab Enclave Baghi Mehtab, male (62) from Nowgam, male (20) from Nowpora Nagam Budgam, female (29) from Baghi Kanipora Budgam.

The Srinagar cases include male (25) from 13 Battalion Humhama Srg, male (24) from Hamdania Colony Bemina, male (37) from Alochibagh, female (20) from Nishat, male (38) from Rajbagh, female (35) and male (45) from Qamarwari, two females (25, 22) and male (60) from Ahmadnagar, male (22) and female (25) from Nowshera, male (50) from SKIMS Soura, male (35) from SKIMS Srg, male (55) from Hawal, male (37) from SKIMS Soura Campus Srg, male (37) from Soura Srg, male (32) from Elahibagh, male (48) from Sangam, female (27) from Gulshan Nagar, male (20) from Rangpora.

The Kupwara cases include fourteen males (43, 26, 29, 29, 49, 25, 42, 34, 40, 24, 51, 31, 28, 47) from Niyari, five males (25, 25, 33, 38, 27) from Trehgam, male (80) from Devar Anderbugh Kupwara.

Moreover, they said, 596 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 219 from Jammu Division and 377 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
